SUMMARY
The first text in this issue is in memory of Višnja Stahuljak, the eminent Croatian writer who has recently passed away.
The new texts, fiction and poetry signed by contemporary Croatian authors, present different poetic approaches to current issues in literature.
The section rich in translations contains some essays and poetry by the classical Polish writers, translated in Croatian for the first time, as well as a contemporary Slovene literature contribution.
The central essay section refers to contributions on eminent Croatian writers, some of them being even classical ones in the context of national literature (Dragutin Tadijanović, Ivan Slamnig); in addition, it presents a few contemporary ones.
The travel writing section includes a text, heterogeneous in terms of genre, which is closely related to classical music and set in Sicily, in the south of Italy.
The theoretical section contains a study in the field of theatre philosophy (Antonin Artaud) as well as a study on the deconstruction and performativeness of body in the same artistic genre.
This time the history section is related to our native land, Istria, i.e. diplomatic and other divisions between Yugoslavia (Croatia and Slovenia being independent countries today) and Italy after the Second World War. The text is entitled 'From the Peace Agreement to the London Memorandum, 1947-1954'. This volume presents only the first part of the study.
Finally, the current reviews refer to new titles in literature, history and exact sciences.
